BRIVON FAQ’S FOR CARERS

Understanding Brivoncare & Live-In Care

What is Brivon?
Brivon is a UK care platform that helps self-employed carers find high-paying,
flexible care roles. You can work with Brivon and still work with other platforms or
private clients. There are no lock-ins or exclusivity requirements.
How is Brivon different from other platforms?
Higher, transparent pay, guaranteed weekly pay, zero platform fees, flexible work, no
exclusivity, and a simple online onboarding process
Do I have to leave my current platform or sign an exclusive contract?
No. Brivon is non-exclusive. You can continue working with other platforms or take
private clients as you wish.

Brivon’s Position

I haven't heard of Brivon before. Are you new?
We’re a rapidly growing platform focused on revolutionising carer pay and freedom.
While we may not have the longest history, we’re built on a modern approach that puts
carers first with top pay and genuine flexibility, which is why so many carers are
choosing us. We are your best option for high-paying, flexible work.
How does Brivon make money if you don't charge carers?
We generate revenue from the clients who use our platform to find high-quality
carers. Our business model is built around ensuring carers are paid exceptionally well,
as we believe this is the right way to operate and leads to the best care outcomes
How and when do I get paid?
We pay carers fortnightly, directly into your bank account. We ensure this is done
reliably. This means you won’t have to chase invoices or deal with admin stress – we
handle that for you.
Are there any fees for carers? Hidden costs?
Absolutely not. Zero platform fees, sign-up fees, or membership fees. Ever. You
keep 100% of the rate you agree to for each job. We make our money from the client
side, not by taking a cut from carers
What about specialist carers or those looking after two people?
We recognise specialist skills and the extra responsibility of looking after a couple.
For these roles, the pay rates are higher, and this will be clearly advertised on the job
postings on the Carer Portal
I’m currently working with another agency or registered with another platform?

Yes, absolutely! This is one of our biggest advantages. You can work with Brivon
AND continue with your current agency or platform, or take on private clients. We do
not require exclusivity. You are always in control of your work schedule and where you
choose to work.

So, I can apply for jobs on Brivon and also work other jobs at the same time?
Exactly. You can browse and apply for Brivon jobs through our Carer Portal, and then
pick up other work through other avenues. It’s all about giving you the maximum
flexibility and earning potential.
What if I have existing private clients? Can I keep them?
Yes, of course. Your existing private clients are yours. Brivon is here to supplement
your income and offer you more choice, not to restrict you.
Will Brivon penalise me if I take a job elsewhere?
No, not at all. We have no exclusivity clauses, no lock-in periods, and no penalties
for working elsewhere. You are self-employed and in charge

Registration & Getting Started

How quickly can I start working after registering?
Once your profile is complete and your documents (like Enhanced DBS, right-to-work,
references) are verified, you can typically start applying for jobs and potentially begin
placements within 5 to 7 days. If you have all your documentation ready, it can
sometimes be even faster.
What documents do I need to register?
You’ll need your Enhanced DBS check, proof of your right to work in the UK, and
potentially references from previous care roles. The exact requirements will be clear on
the registration portal. We can also help guide you on DBS updates if needed.
What documents do I need to register?
Not at all. It’s designed to be quick and easy through our online web app. You can fill
it out on your phone or computer, and save your progress. We also have support available if you get stuck.
Do I need to have an interview for every job?
For many roles, especially live-in care, you’ll apply directly through the portal, and
often no formal interview is needed beyond an introductory chat with the client or their
family. Some specific roles might require a brief discussion, but we aim to make it as
streamlined as possible.
